01. Sheri's Background
How My Love for Music Shaped My Teaching Career.
My journey into music education began at a young age, inspired by my own experiences as a student. I started taking piano lessons at just seven years old, and my passion for music blossomed from there. As a local music teacher, I have dedicated over 30 years to sharing that passion with my students.
I remember the joy of performing in front of my family and friends, and it ignited a desire in me to help others experience that same thrill. As a private piano teacher and vocal coach, I've had the privilege of teaching a wide range of instruments, including piano, flute, voice, orff instruments, sensory tools, and more. Each student's unique journey reminds me of the transformative power of music, and I am committed to helping them achieve their goals while nurturing their love for music.

As a certified music teacher, my formal education has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality instruction. I am currently a private music tutor, and I have pursued extensive training in both music and inclusive education.
